WFDF and its Spirit of the Game Commission is looking for Spirit Directors for it's 2025 Championships and Events; if you or a member of your community are interested, please fill out the form below:

Spirit Director Role:
The Spirit Director works with the WFDF Events Staff for teh event participants to have a great and spirited event experience. Some key activities include:
- 1) Ensure the event information has clear information on SOTG
- 2) Organise and host the Spirit Captain's meeting
- 3) Ensure that participants have the required rules accreditations through spot checks
- 4) Engage with teams to help and facilitate, especially with low and learn from high scores
- 5) Answer SOTG related queries and liaise with Spirit Captain
- 6) Tally the SOTG scores and present the SOTG Award to the winners
- 7) Be part of the Tournament Rules Group to discuss crucial tournament decisions
Some key requirements are:
- 1) Good understanding, experience and appreciation of the SOTG, flying disc sports, their rules and culture
- 2) Good communication skills and working proficiency in English
- 3) Full dedication to the Spirit Director role for the duration of the event
- 4) Preferably have previous Spirit Director or events experience

The Spirit Director is a rewarding learning experience with the opportunity to significantly improve participants' event experience. You will be supported and provided with materials by the WFDF SOTG Commission.
