Call for Candidates
The EUF is looking for candidates for President, Secretary and Treasurer. They form together with the following committees the Board of Directors of the EUF.
Board of Directors
- Spirit of the Game Director (Chairing the SotG Committee)
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Director (Chairing the D.E.I. Committee)
- Competition Director (Chairing the Competition Committee)
- Youth and Development Director (new position to support the development of
Ultimate in schools and recruiting and training projects for youth - the director will
chair the youth&development committee)
- Masters Ultimate Director (new position to support the development of the Masters
Division and “Retain” Projects - the director will chair a to be formed Master Ultimate
Committee)
- Athletes Committee Chair (the athletes committee will be voted by the athletes and
will nominate their chair. This person must be approved by the General Assembly)
What is expected?
For all board members it is requested a general commitment to attend the online Board Meetings (every 6-8 weeks) and to ideally react to emails and whatsapp within 48h. Committee Chairs must have moderation and decision making skills additionally to practical experience in the area the committee is managing.
Working language is English.
European Ultimate Federation
The Europäischer Ultimate Sport Verband - European Ultimate Federation (EUF) - is a non-profit sports association with its seat in Guntramsdorf (Austria). EUF is a member of the European Flying Disc Federation (EFDF), which is the Umbrella Organisation overall European disc sports recognized by the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF). EUF is responsible for Ultimate and Indoor Ultimate in Europe and it consists of 35 member associations, which represent Ultimate in their countries.
As part of the European Flying Disc Federation (EFDF) and the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF), the EUF works for the coordination and development of Ultimate in Europe and the promotion of its Spirit of the Game ideals. The EUF coordinates Ultimate associations in Europe and supports Ultimate in countries where there is no local organisation. The EUF organises tournaments for European teams, develops educational programs and courses for them, and supports other activities of interest.
